If you have a teacher call in sick, if you need extra help, if you need to hire someone but don’t want the hassle of recruiting, interviewing and screening, or if you just want the flexibility of utilizing a substitute only when you need them, TOC can provide you with substitute teachers on a temporary basis that can be as short as 1 day or as long as 6 months or more!

Temp-to-Hire |

Temp-to-Hire is a great program that creates a WIN-WIN scenario for both the teacher and the school. It gives both parties the opportunity to see if the work relationship is a good one before making a long-term commitment. As an employer, you have the opportunity to screen and ‘try-out’ our teachers to determine if he/she fit in your school environment.

Direct Placement |

Another option we offer is to screen our applicant teachers to your guidelines and perform the initial interviews to get the best candidates for you. From that point, you can schedule two or three interviews to make your hiring decision. Our direct placement structure charges you a small fee for the recruiting service and we guarantee our placement for 60 days providing conditions of employment have not changed.

This enables us to effectively evaluate the prospective teacher not only in terms of experience, but also in personality, attitude and work philosophy. Conducting this in-depth interview allows us to better match the applicants experience with the needs of our schools.

Screening |
|
|
At Teachers On Call – AZ all applicants are required to submit a Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Department of Public Safety. In addition, we investigate educational qualifications, verify two professional references to confirm teaching experience as well as two personal references.
